During my studies I worked for the local newspaper. It was 2014 and the soccer World Cup in Brasil took place when I was asked to photograph public screening events. I got my first smartphone the same year. With the crappy camera, which only took square pictures, I documented everyday scenes and started a blog on a daily column in Germanys most notorious tabloid. Finally, when Germany won the cup, all came together and I did kind of a fanzine. Four years later during the next World Cup I started an abstract Still Life series of everyday products sold in German national colors.
